An AEW star is potentially set to switch factions at the Full Gear pay-per-view event after stipulations were added to a championship match.
“The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher defended his TNT Championship against Mark Briscoe back at AEW WrestleDream in what was the fifth career singles encounter between the two men.
However, Briscoe has continued to chase the TNT Championship since, with him once again wanting a shot at Fletcher’s title at Full Gear, and the match has now been confirmed for the show.
During a backstage segment, Briscoe challenged Fletcher to a No Disqualification match for the title at Full Gear, which Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher were open to accepting, but they wanted something else in return.
When Briscoe offered up his career in return, Callis rejected, saying he enjoys Briscoe as a wrestler, instead offering something else in return.
Callis said that if Briscoe loses to Fletcher at Full Gear, he would be forced to join the Don Callis Family, and leave the Conglomeration for good.
Briscoe accepted Callis’ challenge, making the match official for Full Gear.
