An AEW star is currently unsure of their return to the company after having to return to their home country to renew their Visa.
A month on from her last match on TV, inaugural AEW Women’s Champion Riho is currently back in Japan to renew her Visa.
The 26-year-old announced the news on her Instagram story, revealing that she was unsure of when she would be able to return to AEW.
Riho wrote:
I am currently in Japan for renew my VISA.
I don’t know when I will return to AEW.
Please stay healthy and enjoy your life until then.
Riho’s last match on TV came at the Big Business edition of Dynamite on March 13, where she and Willow Nightingale faced off in the main event.
Despite being with AEW since 2019, Riho has continued to compete in Japan, most recently doing so in a pair of matches in January for different promotions.
WrestleTalk will provide further update on Riho’s AEW status as soon as it becomes available.
