AEW Star Believes Young Bucks’ Tag Team Work Is Underrated AEW

An AEW star has come to the defence of the Young Bucks, stating that they believe their tag team work is ‘underrated’.

The Young Bucks made their return to AEW after several months away on last week’s AEW Dynamite Homecoming episode of the show.

The Bucks appeared in the closing moments of the show, where they were revealed to be the planned final opponents for Sting and Darby Allin at AEW Revolution.

The decision has been met with conflicting opinions, with some believing the Bucks to be the best choice to face Sting and Darby in Sting’s last match, while others believe that another team would be a better fit, or they simply are just not fans of the Young Bucks.

Speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy spoke on the Bucks being Sting’s final opponents, saying he believes their tag team work is underrated.

He said:

“I say it here ad nauseam, and once again, to piss everyone off that are not on the Young Bucks train, the Bucks are truly amazing. They can get in the ring. They’re so good. They know what they’re doing. They can lead people that are a little older, their bodies are a little more broken down, they can lead them to great matches. They’re just so talented, they’re really, really good, and they’re truly underrated. Their actual work as a tag team is underrated.

“I know a lot of people give them a hard time because, ‘Oh, they’re spot monkeys and they do this and they do that, or they play politics because they’re EVPs.’ They’re both good dudes, and they’re both incredible professional wrestlers. If that does end up being Sting’s final match, Sting and Darby versus The Young Bucks, they’re gonna tear the house down. It’s gonna be great, guaranteed.”

Sting teamed with Darby Allin to defeat Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs of the Don Callis Family on last week’s Dynamite.

Details on the Bucks being chosen as Sting’s final opponents can be found here.
