A former AEW Women’s World Champion, who last competed at All In: Texas is reportedly dealing with an injury.

Thunder Rosa was last seen in the women’s Casino Gauntlet at the July 12 AEW pay-per-view, with Athena winning that match.

A report has now emerged stating that the star is currently dealing with an injury.

Dave Meltzer reported Rosa’s injury in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while also referencing the injury status of Jamie Hayter.

According to Meltzer, Thunder Rosa is dealing with an injury, the nature of which is currently unknown.

With the nature of the injury being unknown, there isn’t a timeline for Thunder Rosa’s return at the time of writing.

Thunder Rosa had previously suffered a back injury that saw her unable to compete defend her title back in August 2022.

She would return from that injury in December 2023 and would go on to compete regularly on television, including challenging, once again, for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

In July 2025, she would lose to Athena after challenging for the ROH Women’s World Championship at Supercard of Honor.

As for Jamie Hayter, Meltzer had previously reported she was injured during her match against Mercedes Mone at AEW Double or Nothing.

Hayter would be written off AEW television during an attack from Thekla on the May 28 episode of Dynamite.
