An AEW star has taken to social media to say that that he believes the Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page don’t get the ‘flowers’ they deserve.
And unfortunately, he thinks by the time they are appreciated, it may be too late.
After the opening match aired on tonight’s edition of AEW Rampage, Matt Hardy may have been in the ring on television but he was on Twitter in real life.
Matt Hardy wrote:
“Dark Order vs The Elite was a fantastic match. It’s nice to see Dark Order earn such a well deserved spotlight. #AEWRampage
“The @youngbucks & Adam Page are extraordinary talents that will unfortunately get their flowers way later than they should.”
Matt Hardy has previously discussed the difference in ‘feel’ between both AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage, noting that the distinct branding could lead to exciting future opportunities for head to head competition between the brands.
For his part on tonight’s show, Hardy took the losing pin from the team of Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia who will then advance in the AEW ‘blind’ tag team eliminator tournament.
If you want to find out everything that went down on tonight’s AEW Rampage even before the show finishes airing, you can read the spoilers here.
