AJ Styles Addresses LA Knight Attack At WWE Elimination Chamber

AJ Styles has explained why he chose to attack LA Knight during Saturday’s (February 24) Elimination Chamber match.

LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Logan Paul, Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley all made the trip to Australia for this weekend’s premium live event, with these six men competing in the World Heavyweight Title #1 contenders Elimination Chamber bout.

It turned out that AJ Styles had also travelled to Australia too, with the Phenomenal One ambushing Knight with a steel chair during the bout, leading to Knight’s elimination.

WWE has now shared a video to Instagram showing AJ Styles returning backstage after his surprise appearance at Elimination Chamber.

Explaining his actions, Styles said:

“Now do you understand? You messed with the wrong man. You see, I’m not about just winning anymore.

“I’m going to hurt… not just LA Knight, but anyone who gets in my way. Because I’m AJ Styles.”

It has been heavily speculated that AJ Styles and LA Knight will face off at WrestleMania 40 in April.

Styles and Knight, alongside Randy Orton, notably challenged for Roman Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Championship at January’s Royal Rumble premium live event.

Drew McIntyre ultimately won the Elimination Chamber match, last eliminating Randy Orton to punch his ticket to WrestleMania 40.
