AEW is set to return to Arthur Ashe Stadium for AEW Grand Slam in two weeks time, and a huge championship rematch has now been announced for the show.
One of the matches of the weekend took place at All Out, when Swerve in our Glory defended their AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Acclaimed, who were beloved in Chicago.
However, the Chicago crowd being behind the Acclaimed unfortunately did not lead to them capturing the titles, much to the disappointment of the fans in attendance and watching around the world.
However, it is not all doom and gloom yet, as it was announced on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show that the rematch between Swerve in our Glory and the Acclaimed will take place in Arthur Ashe Stadium at Grand Slam.
Even Seth Rollins took to Twitter earlier today to heap praise on the match, as well as many other great matches, in a wrestling appreciation tweet earlier today.
