A new report has revealed an update on Andrade El Idolo’s injury recovery and potential return.
Andrade El Idolo underwent surgery for a torn pectoral muscle injury he suffered during his match in the opening round of the AEW Trios Championship tournament in August 2022.
As previously reported, Ric Flair recently revealed that Andrade was currently recovering from the injury.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, confirming that the AEW star is recovering from the injury and had surgery in late November.
The report also notes that Andrade is not expected to be ready until the Spring at least.
Andrade’s tag team partner and La Faccion Ingobernables stablemate Rush has been received a bit of a push as of late in All Elite Wrestling with matches against Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli.
It remains to be seen when Andrade El Idolo will officially make his return to the promotion.
We will have further update on Andrade’s return to in-ring action when they become available.
