While many often perceive Tony Khan to be a one-man creative team, the AEW President does in fact get help from others when booking his now four different weekly shows.
Not only are names such as QT Marshall, Jerry Lynn, Pat Buck and Will Washington reportedly involved but according to recent reports even AEW talent such as Bryan Danielson have been lending Khan a hand creatively.
But it seems that ahead of the Collision premiere on June 17, Danielson may not be the only active talent involved behind the scenes.
According to a new report from PWInsider, FTR’s Dax Harwood has also been “involved in creative pitches” as of late.
In other creative team news, it was reported last night that AEW has signed Jimmy Jacobs. For the latest on that, click this link.
Dax is of course set to play a major role on Collision, being heavily featured on promotional material alongside Cash Wheeler while also set to compete in the main event of the premiere edition at Chicago’s United Center.
The June 17 Collision main event will see Juice Robinson, Jay White and Samoa Joe take on FTR and the returning CM Punk in trios action, Punk’s first match since September 2022’s All Out PPV.
But that’s not all as several other major match-ups were announced for the debut show as AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will team with Ruby Soho to take on Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale.
Elsewhere Wardlow defends his TNT Championship against Luchasaurus, Miro will be in action against an unspecified opponent, and Andrade El Idolo faces off with the House of Black’s Buddy Matthews.
