Another Anoa’i Family Member Makes Pro Wrestling Debut WWE

While the Anoa’i family remains at the top of WWE, represented by Roman Reigns, The Usos and Solo Sikoa, another cousin has just made his pro wrestling debut.

At Reality of Wrestling (the flagship Texas wrestling school founded by WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T) another member of ‘the Bloodline’ made his pro-wrestling debut.

Zilla Fatu made his debut in a match for Reality of Wrestling.

Fatu is an actual cousin of the central figures in the on-going WWE Bloodline storyline, as his Father Umaga is the brother of the Usos and Solo Sikoa’s Father, Rikishi.

After previously having commented in an interview with Malcolm of Muscle Man Malcolm that his goal was to join WWE, the road to his dreams has not been an easy one.

The son of late WWE star Umaga, Zilla Fatu served six years in prison at the Texas State Penitentiary after he was charged with aggravated robbery at the age of 15.

He was released in March 2022 and began training at Reality of Wrestling, pursing a goal in professional wrestling despite as he mentioned, his Father actually not encouraging his children to do.

In speaking to Malcolm about the debut after the fact, Fatu said:

“I didn’t know this opportunity would come this fast. I didn’t know me having this match would come this fast, but just thanks to the whole Reality of Wrestling for believing in me and my vision. Thanks to Booker T, too. He played a big role in getting me on this card and actually on a flyer, so that’s something big. I’m blessed to be in this position right now,”

In his most recent chat though, he didn’t echo his previous statements of hoping to join WWE, rather casting his vision even higher, Fatu joked that now he wants to own WWE instead.

With NXT already hosting several other Reality of Wrestling alums including Roxanne Perez, we’ll have to wait and see if we’ll see Zilla Fatu at a WWE Performance Center tryout sometime in the future!
