Another Match Made Official For AEW WrestleDream 2023 AEW

Another match has been made official for AEW WrestleDream 2023 in Seattle, Washington on October 1, 2023 on pay-per-view.

Joining the only other announced match so far on the card (Bryan Danielson taking on Zack Sabre Jr.), another Pacific Northwest native set up their bout for the night.

Swerve Strickland distracted Hangman Adam Page during his brutal match against Brian Cage on tonight’s AEW Dynamite and despite the loss for the Mogul Embassy with Hangman picking up the win, Swerve was undeterred.

When Swerve revealed that he wasn’t going to be called out by Hangman Adam Page on his preferred timeline, he would agree to a match in ‘the place that birthed him’.

In Seattle at WrestleDream 2023, Swerve Strickland made it official as he will take on Hangman Adam Page at the inaugural event.

After Hangman agreed, he was attacked from behind by Brian Cage and a dancing Prince Nana who unfortunately was then caught by Page’s buddies, the Young Bucks.

In the end, the trio stood tall after having booted Cage and Prince Nana from the ring but the rivalry between the factions is clearly not over yet!

Also teased for a potential showdown at WrestleDream, Don Callis revealed that Konosuke Takeshita would next be targeting Kota Ibushi, to further destroy Kenny Omega.

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, challengers to both Saraya’s AEW Women’s World Championship and MJF’s AEW World Championship for next week’s Dynamite Grand Slam were revealed.
