A long-time producer was released by WWE after a 14-year long run backstage with the company as part of today’s cutbacks.
Mike Rotunda, 62, has been released by WWE, as reported by PWInsider.
Rotunda is the father of current WWE stars Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, and was also known as Irwin R. Shyster (IRS) back in the day, winning the WWF Tag Team Championhip.
He had been an agent/producer backstage since 2006 after retiring from in-ring competition in 2004.
Shyster had previously been placed on furlough leave by the company back in April.
Gerald Brisco was also let go today. We’ll keep you updated with any further names as they become known.
