Becky Lynch & Xavier Woods Return To The Ring At WWE House Shows WWE

King (Xavier) Woods and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch both returned to the ring during last night’s (March 12) WWE house shows.

Woods teamed with Kofi Kingston during Satuday’s live event in Jackson, MS. The New Day duo faced off against Sheamus & Ridge Holland, and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a three-way title match.

Prior to the live event, Woods had most recently wrestled on the January 7 edition of SmackDown. Woods had been out of action, recovering from a torn Plantaris.

Lynch teamed with Carmella, Queen Zelina, & Doudrop to do battle with Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, & Liv Morgan in a handicap match at the Columbus, GA live event. The Raw Women’s Champion had recently suffered a fractured voice box, but has returned to the ring ahead of her WrestleMania 38 match against Bianca Belair.

After Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Big E revealed that he suffered a broken neck from a botched belly-to-belly suplex. The original plans for The New Day at WrestleMania 38 have since been revealed.
