Big Championship Match Advertised For Elimination Chamber

The Wells Fargo Center website is currently advertising a new championship match for the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay per view.

They are showing that The Miz and John Morrison will take on The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. WWE has been building to the match since Morrison’s return to the company in January.

Morrison made his return on January 3, 2020, appearing backstage in The Miz’s locker room. Upon his return to the ring, he and The Miz reformed their tag team from the late 2000s and Morrison beat Big E and Kofi Kingston in singles matches prior to the Royal Rumble.

They were then able to defeat Heavy Machinery, The Revival, and Lucha House Party in a fatal four-way match on SmackDown.

The New Day have been champions since November when they took the titles from The Revival. They have defended the titles since and now The Miz and Morrison appear to be their next challengers.
