Big E has provided a relatively promising update on his broken neck, following Friday’s (March 11) edition of SmackDown.
During the show, Big E was stretchered out of the arena after taking a rough bump from Ridge Holland’s overhead belly-to-belly suplex. After the show, Big E revealed that he suffered a broken neck from the botch.
Big E has now shared another video with fans, confirming that his C1 and C6 vertebrae have been fractured. Fortunately, Big E has no vertebrae displacement no spinal cord damage, and no ligament damage.
The former WWE Champion stated that he will not be requiring surgery during his recovery.
Big E joked that if you’re going to break your neck, do so in Birmingham, Alabama, the location of the doctors that many WWE stars use.
Grateful for all the messages of support, Big E thanked his fans, friends and the wrestling world for reaching out.
