Bobby Lashley Considered For Shock WrestleMania Match

Now Bobby Lashley is WWE Champion again, we can start thinking about all the amazing matches he could have at WrestleMania 38.

Of course all your minds immediately went to Shane McMahon, and it seems you aren’t the only one, as Ringside News – which has had several backstage reports recently confirmed by the likes of Fightful and Dave Meltzer – is reporting it was once suggested Bobby could face Shane at the grandest stage of them all.

The idea was reportedly floated around the Day 1 Premium Live Event, but as of right now it isn’t the plan.

It seems as though Shane’s involvement in general has decreased a lot in recent weeks, as he was supposed to be in the Elimination Chamber match, but Ringside News again reports he was replaced by Austin Theory.

There is reportedly a lot of backstage heat on Shane, who allegedly wanted to book the Rumble match around him, and then for him to go onto WrestleMania 38 for a big match with Seth Rollins.

Bobby Lashley will have to defend his new WWE title inside the Elimination Chamber on February 19 in Saudi Arabia, so we’ll have to see whether he is still champion when WrestleMania comes around.
