Booker T Calls Current Star’s Performance “Oscar-Worthy”

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has praised the recent performance of Sami Zayn, calling his acting in recent promos “Oscar-worthy”.

Zayn has been embroiled in a complex storyline with Roman Reigns and his faction the Bloodline for the better part of a year.

Most recently, on the January 3 edition of SmackDown, Zayn challenged Reigns to a match at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event for the latter’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in an emotional promo.

Speaking on the most recent edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T had high praise for the Great Liberator:

“Sami Zayn has been giving Oscar-worthy performances as of late, especially with The Bloodline. He’s made that thing come alive. He’s definitely made it feel a certain way when you watch it. He stepped up big time.”

Booker also spoke about how he had seen headlines referring to Zayn as “the next face of WWE”.
