WWE Name Comments On Nick Aldis Potentially Joining WWE Following IMPACT Departure IMPACT Wrestling

A WWE Hall of Famer has commented on Nick Aldis potentially going to WWE following his IMPACT Wrestling departure.

At IMPACT Slammiversary, Alex Shelley defeated Nick Aldis to retain the IMPACT World Championship. This was the culmination of Aldis’ return to the company back in April where he set his sights on the top prize.

As previously reported, Aldis has finished up his current run with IMPACT Wrestling and reports note that WWE has interest in the former two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.

During the latest episode of the “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T discussed the potential of the former Magnus signing with WWE. He said:

“He’s a guy who is mature enough to understand what this business is about, more than anything.

“That’s what I say about guys coming into WWE, they gotta be seasoned a lot of times in order to really, really understand what that thing is about.”

Sharing his belief that Aldis has enough star power to make people pay attention if he was signed by WWE, Booker stated:

“I think a guy like Nick Aldis would definitely be an addition to that WWE roster, perhaps in some way, in some form.

“I don’t know exactly how, but I do think Nick Aldis is a name, his name has some value to it around the world, not just in Impact Wrestling, I think you say the name, ‘Nick Aldis,’ pretty much if you’re in the wrestling world, you’re going to know who he is.”

Booker T also addressed his feud with Cody Rhodes and why he put “The American Nightmare” over, which you can read here.
