Booker T Names WWE NXT Talent Who Could Be ‘Major, Major Star Very Soon’

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has identified one NXT talent who he believes could become a “major, major star very, very soon.”

In addition to being one half of the NXT announce team, Booker T also works as a coach on WWE LFG and runs his own Reality of Wrestling school and promotion.

Reality of Wrestling often brings in talents from NXT for its shows, which gets some eyes on the product and also allows those talents to develop outside of the WWE Performance Center system.

For example, the current Reality of Wrestling Heavyweight Champion is NXT star Niko Vance, who was a member of The Culling before he and Izzi Dame ambushed Shawn Spears last week.

Another NXT talent who popped up in ROW recently is Zena Sterling, who has yet to make an official NXT TV debut, but has featured on all three seasons of LFG as well as Evolve.

Sterling, from Ukraine, is still only 22 as she signed with WWE when she was just 19, but has shown enough promise that Booker T believes she’ll be a “major star” in the industry.

On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker said:

“We had one of the young talents at Reality of Wrestling over the weekend – Zena Sterling. I’m gonna tell you, man. She went out there with Mia Friday and they rocked the house.

“The first time Zena Sterling has ever had the chance to get outside the confines of the PC and really see what things are like outside. And I must say, she shined. She really shined like new money.

“I see a big star – and I’m gonna manifest this – I see a big star in Zena Sterling. I’m gonna do everything I possibly can.

“She’ll be back at Reality of Wrestling next month, so if you missed her this month, make sure you come out and check Zena Sterling out next month, because I predict she’s gonna be a major, major star in this business very, very soon. Trust me on that.”
