Bray Wyatt Illness ‘Life Threatening’, WWE Return Update

Bray Wyatt Illness ‘Life Threatening’, WWE Return Update WWE

It has emerged that the illness preventing Bray Wyatt from appearing on WWE TV since March was a “life threatening” issue.

After the latest news on Wyatt’s status came out yesterday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful provided another update, saying:

“Without specifically naming what it is, because I’m sure he will in the future when he’s ready, it was a very, very serious illness that left him hospitalized, and it quite frankly threatened his career and his life.

“Fortunately, as of now, it does not look like it will threaten either his career or his life, which is very, very good news.”

This comes after Fightful had reported that Wyatt is getting “closer” to a return to the ring and their have been creative ideas presented for him.

September has been mentioned as a possible return timeframe, but Wyatt will need to get medically cleared, so that’s not confirmed yet.

There had been plans earlier this year involving Wyatt, Alexa Bliss, Eric Young, and Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas).

However, Bliss was absent due to being pregnant, Eric Young requested and was granted his release from WWE due to not wanting to work for Vince McMahon, and Wyatt sustained the health issue, so those plans obviously never came to fruition.
