Good news from Brandi Rhodes as Cody Rhodes is safe and sound and recovering after a successful surgery she reported this evening on Twitter.
Brandi tweeted:
“The doctor just repaired Cody’s pectoral tendon which was torn completely off the bone. Successful surgery. He is on the road to recovery now.”
Cody Rhodes suffered an injury in advance of Hell in a Cell 2022 which has since been confirmed to have been a complete tear of his pectoral tendon. Despite the grisly injury, Rhodes elected to continue to go on with his scheduled performance and competed in a vicious match against Seth Rollins.
In a legendary feat, Rhodes still managed to defeat Rollins within the demonic Hell in a Cell structure but not before the match saw plenty of gruesome spots including watching Rollins continue to target the visibly injured area.
Notably among the wrestling world sightings in the likes of the post, Cody and Brandi’s former boss, Tony Khan.
Everyone here at WrestleTalk continues to wish Cody Rhodes a speedy recovery!
