A Hell in a Cell match featuring Brock Lesnar has been announced for the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event at the start of August.

Raw kicked off with an address from Oba Femi, who won the 2026 King of the Ring tournament at WWE Night of Champions this past weekend with a win against Jey Uso.

Femi celebrated his win and was about to shift his attention to the decision he has to make for SummerSlam – which world title will he challenge for?

The current choices are World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns or Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn.

However, before Femi could proceed with making his decision, he was interrupted by the entrance of the returning Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar and Femi stand at a 1-1 record after Femi beat Lesnar at WrestleMania and Lesnar then beat Femi at Clash In Italy.

Tonight, Lesnar came out and confronted Femi and mentioned that Paul Heyman had told him that Femi had been talking trash about him over the past few weeks.

Lesnar then said “talk s**t get hit,” before striking Femi with a low blow and then an F5.

As Lesnar and Heyman were leaving, Femi grabbed a microphone and challenged Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam, which is in Lesnar’s hometown of Minneapolis.

Lesnar accepted, but then added one more detail – it’ll be a Hell in a Cell match.

Lesnar has had memorable Hell in a Cell matches against The Undertaker in his career – in 2002 and 2015 – and Lesnar has never lost a Hell in a Cell match.

It appears this could be Lesnar’s retirement match, with things adding up to it being in his hometown, the Hell in a Cell stipulation, and the deciding match in the trilogy against Oba Femi.

In another note, it was said afterwards that Femi is “forgoing” his title shot at SummerSlam, so it appears he won’t be working two matches that weekend as some had predicted, and he’ll just get the title shot at another time.
