Brock Lesnar Refused To Work With Former World Champion? WWE

Road Dogg has alleged that former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar refused to work with former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens.

Owens will join Drew McIntyre and the Brawling Brutes at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames this Saturday (November 26) to take on Roman Reigns and the Bloodline in the show’s titular main event.

While Kevin Owens seems popular among the people who count in WWE right now, it appears that wasn’t always the case.

Speaking on his podcast Oh You Didn’t Know, former DX member Road Dogg discussed the rumor that Jinder Mahal had lost the WWE Championship in 2017 because Brock Lesnar did not want to work with him.

While he denied that this was the case, Road Dogg did let slip that Lesnar allegedly did not want to work with Owens:

“I want to clarify, it is not that he did not want to work with Jinder. It’s that he really thought he could have a better match with AJ. So I just wanted that to be clear.

“Like because look, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Brock saying I don’t want [to], I’m not working with that guy.

“Well, I did, I did hear that with Kevin Owens, but only him.

“Look, Brock is that kind of talent, like I just talked about, has a special relationship with Vince. And so apparently they had a conversation and, and a decision, a creative decision was made. We’re gonna go with AJ Styles as a champion into this tournament at Night of Champions.”

Lesnar recently faced Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel 2022. It it not yet clear when he will make his next appearance for the company.
