Scott Steiner has revealed why his nephew Bron Breakker has yet to be called up from NXT to WWE’s main roster.
Despite seemingly accomplishing everything on Tuesday nights, WWE have yet to pull the trigger and move the second generation star up to either Raw or SmackDown.
In a recent interview with Sportskeeda’s Bill Apter, Breakker’s uncle: ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner was posed the question of why the 26-year-old has remained on NXT.
Steiner revealed that the company are biding their time with Breakker, despite Steiner himself believing he’s ready for the jump right now, he explained
“Oh, they’re just going to wait to bring him up when the time is right.
“I mean, It’s better to go up there with a plan in mind and not just show up. It’s best for him to keep on learning.
“They’ll know when he’s ready. I mean, I think he’s ready now but…”
While fans expected a call-up to happen in 2023, it seems like an absolute inevitability now to happen at some point this coming year, however, we’ll have to just wait and see.
NXT commentator Booker T recently stated that he hoped to see Breakker remain on the brand for another year.
