Australian WWE star Bronson Reed has issued a statement on missing the Elimination Chamber event, revealing great news in the process.
UPDATE: Triple H has now responded to Bronson Reed – read the latest here.
Many fans were surprised, upset and even angry that Reed had been left off the event in Perth given it would have been a home-country affair.
However, during the show today, Reed tweeted:
FULL DISCLOSURE: Originally, I was set to be at #WWEChamber
It would have been an incredible moment. Unfortunately, plans changed. But everything happens for a reason.
My wife and I have had our baby early, I was supposed to miss the PLE to make sure I’m here for my family.
Thank you for all your support. To all my friends and family who have reached out. To @TripleH for guiding me.
Now I’m not just BIG … I AM BIG, POPPA!
Two days ago, he had tweeted:
My people, Yes, my wife is pregnant. No, that is not the reason I’m not on #WWEChamber
Thank you for your concerns. Sometimes, the stars don’t align
We send our congratulations to Bronson Reed and wish him and his family the very best.
Already at Elimination Chamber today, Becky Lynch won the women’s Chamber match so she’ll challenge Rhea Ripley (or Nia Jax) for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania.
We’ll continue to keep you posted with all the news throughout the show.
