On the January 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, we got a glimpse at what will likely be our main event of AEW Revolution.
After Bryan Danielson’s victory over Tony Nese on the show, MJF told him that if he can win every match between then and February, he would earn the shot at MJF’s title at the show.
Bryan’s first opponent was Konosuke Takeshita, who he defeated on last week’s show.
On tonight’s (January 18) episode of Dynamite, Bryan was victorious over Bandido in an incredible match, before MJF appeared on the tron telling him to be scared of the ‘monster behind the mask’.
After the segment, Bryan’s next opponent was announced as ROH Trios Champion Brian Cage.
MJF spoke to Cage backstage, where he handed him money to help ‘break Danielson’s arm’.
The match will take place on next week’s AEW Dynamite show.
