Huge Bryan Danielson Match Announced For AEW Rampage Buy In

Tony Khan has announced that Bryan Danielson will do battle with Minoru Suzuki on Friday’s Buy In special ahead of AEW Rampage.

This will be Suzuki’s first AEW match since his Lights Out tag team bout on the September 25 edition of Rampage. Danielson and Suzuki haven’t shared the ring since the duo teamed up during a 2004 NJPW tour.

Khan also confirmed that Bobby Fish will be in action against Lee Moriarty. Fish made his AEW debut on the October 6 edition of Dynamite, unsuccessfully challenging for Sammy Guevara’s TNT Championship.

Both bouts were announced by Khan on Twitter:

“Friday starts a great wrestling weekend with #AEWRampage LIVE 10pm on TNT but first Friday at 9pm ET we go live with The Buy In to preview a HUGE Friday Rampage + Saturday #AEWDynamite! Buy In includes @theBobbyFish vs.@theleemoriarty & I’ll announce Bryan’s opponent momentarily.”

“Ahead of a huge #AEWRampage show THIS Friday night at 10pm ET/9pm CT LIVE on TNT with

Reacting the the major match announcement, Danielson tweeted:

“In 2004, I wrestled Minoru Suzuki 1 on 1. He beat the sh*t out of me. Showed me what violence and sadism inside a wrestling ring looks like. Since then, I’ve learned a thing or two about violence myself. And sadism. Excited to show Mr. Suzuki what I’ve learned #DANIELSONvsSUZUKI

Danielson and Fish will face off in singles action on Saturday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

The Buy In special will air on the AEW YouTube channel on Friday at 9pm ET.
