Bryan Danielson Makes Two Out Of Three Falls Challenge To NJPW Rival AEW

AEW star Bryan Danielson has made a two out of three falls match challenge to his rival and former NJPW World TV Champion Zack Sabre Jr.

At NJPW New Beginning in Osaka, AEW’s Bryan Danielson returned to Japan to face Zack Sabre Jr. in a rematch to their WrestleDream encounter last year.

After over 30 minutes of superb technical wrestling, Sabre Jr. defeated Danielson with a technical pinfall to even their current series at 1-1.

To settle things, many fans and critics have speculated about the two men meeting for a third meeting down the line.

Following his loss to ZSJ, Bryan Danielson spoke with the media and challenged Zack Sabre Jr. to a third encounter that would be fought under a two out of three falls stipulation. Noting that he would like to wrestle a potential third match against Sabre Jr. in a neutral ground, Bryan said:

“I think I might want one more. I beat him in AEW, he beat me in New Japan. I say we do two out of three falls, somewhere on neutral ground.”

After the bout, Bryan called ZSJ the best technical wrestler in the world.
