Cain Velasquez will team with Humberto Carrillo against Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson at a WWE Supershow in Mexico on November 30.
Originally it was supposed to be Rey Mysterio teaming with Velasquez, but the former UFC Champion was pulled from the match and replaced by Carrillo, thought to be due to his knee surgery, making it a Rey & Carrillo team.
However, Mysterio has now been swapped back out for Cain, and will instead challenge The Fiend Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship in a steel cage match. Wyatt was initially going to be defending against The Miz.
Velasquez’s only match in WWE so far was a quick loss to Brock Lesnar in a WWE Title match at Crown Jewel on October 31.
He is signed to a multi-year deal with WWE, but Triple H has said he will be more on the developmental side of things for the time being.
Another new match that has been added to the card is Aleister Black vs. Andrade.
