Current Champion Sends Savage Message To Challenger Ahead Of Big WWE Championship Match

A current champion in WWE has sent a savage message to their upcoming challenger ahead of a big championship match.

The 2024 WWE Draft is set to get underway on this week’s episode of SmackDown, continuing on next week’s episode of Raw.

The Draft will feature numerous call ups from the NXT roster, with current NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov reportedly set to be among the names called up to the main roster in the Draft.

Ahead of the Draft, Dragunov is set to defend the title on tonight’s NXT Spring Breakin’ episode of NXT against Trick Williams, with the stipulation being that Williams must leave NXT if he loses.

Ahead of the show, Dragunov took to Twitter, where he claimed tonight would be the ‘funeral’ for Trick Williams’ NXT career.

He said:

Dress up for the funeral of @_trickwilliams NXT career. #NXTSpringBreakin

Tonight’s show will also see Roxanne Perez defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley in a Triple Threat match.
