Championship Match Added To WWE Worlds Collide

Several weeks ago it was announced that Imperium from NXT UK will take on NXT’s Undisputed Era in what should be a mouth-watering main event at WWE Worlds Collide. 

On last week’s NXT a match between Toni Storm and Rhea Ripley was made official. The bout will be Rhea Ripley’s first defence of the NXT Women’s Championship she won by Shayna Baszler.

It was also confirmed during the week that former Universal Champion Finn Balor will represent NXT as he takes on NXT UK’s Ilja Dragunov at the show.

Now it has been announced on WWE The Bump that Angel Garza will defend his NXT Cruiserweight Championship at Worlds Collide against another NXT star and two wrestlers from NXT UK.

Tyler Breeze, Lio Rush and Isaiah Swerve Scott are set to compete in a triple threat match tonight on NXT, with the winner advancing to the Cruiserweight title match at Worlds Collide.

There is no word on who the NXT UK stars featured in the match will be, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on that.

It was also announced today on WWE The Bump that Finn Balor will go one-on-one with Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Portland next month.
