Two Championship Matches Confirmed For AEW WrestleDream 2025 AEW

A championship match has been made official for AEW WrestleDream 2025 on October 18.

On tonight’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday saw Kyle Fletcher successfully defend his TNT Championship against Kyle O’Reilly.

After the match Fletcher and The Don Callis Family sought to inflict more damage on O’Reilly, leading to The Conglomeration coming to the ring to attempt to make the save, but the numbers advantage of Callis’ group overwhelmed them.

The Conglomeration’s fortunes turned around after Mark Briscoe hit the ring however, with the former ROH World Champion sharing a tense face-off with long-running rival Kyle Fletcher before the Australian star escaped the ring.

Following their meeting Renee Paquette broke the news to O’Reilly that he will be defending his TNT Championship against Briscoe at WrestleDream, with the bout being made official for the St. Louis pay-per-view by Tony Khan.

Elsewhere on Dynamite, Brodido took on The Don Callis Family’s Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita in tag team action, with Takeshita and Okada earning a shot at Brodido’s AEW World Tag Team Titles if they could secure the win, while either Brody King or Bandido would get a shot at Okada’s Unified Championship if they picked up the win.

Despite a lot of tension  between Okada and Takeshita throughout, it was they who won the match, with Okada tagging himself in and  earning the pinfall win for his team, as well as an AEW World Tag Team Title shot.

Earlier in the night Jurassic Express also made their long-awaited return to tag team competition, with Jack Perry and Luchasaurus reuniting for the first time in three years.

Picking up the win over a team of enhancement talent in their return, Perry and Luchasaurus celebrations were cut short as the former AEW World Tag Team Champions were attacked by The Young Bucks after the bell.

After laying Jurassic Express out, Nick Jackson got a microphone and officially challenged Perry and Luchasaurus to a match at AEW WrestleDream 2025.

The match was later made official by Tony Khan, with $500k also up for grabs for which ever team secures the win.
