There has been details on a change to a match that took place at this past Monday’s (October 30) WWE Raw tapings.
Prior to the show, WWE tapes matches for that week’s episode of WWE Main Event, with this week’s show featuring two stars from NXT.
On the men’s side, former NXT North American Champion Wes Lee was in action, when he took on Akira Tozawa.
On the women’s side, Blair Davenport was in action, but her opponent was changed prior to the match taking place.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Davenport’s opponent for the show was originally slated to be Katana Chance.
However, Chance ended up being replaced by her partner Kayden Carter for the match.
The reason for the change to the match is not currently known.
Wes Lee also made a surprise return on last night’s NXT Halloween Havoc show, attacking Dominik Mysterio after his North American Championship defence against Nathan Frazer.
