An update on ticket sales for AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2023, following more changes to the arena’s setup.
With the Scotiabank Arena almost at capacity, on Saturday (June 24) 200 more seats opened up on the hard cam side when section 117 of the arena was opened up in full.
Per WrestleTix, section 110 has now been opened in full. This is in addition to a few rows in section 104, and elsewhere opening up.
This has increased the capacity of the arena from 13,537, which it was on Saturday, to 13,764.
As of 8:07 am ET, 151 more tickets have been sold since yesterday’s update, with 13,336 tickets for the event distributed in total.
428 tickets are still available for the event, with its current setup.
For comparison, 16,529 fans were reportedly in attendance for Forbidden Door 2022 at the United Center in Chicago last year.
Top stars from both NJPW and AEW will face off at the event, with huge matches, including Bryan Danielson vs Kazuchika Okada, announced for the crossover show.
It has been heavily speculated that Danielson will receive a change to his presentation ahead of the event, which you can read more about right here.
