Charlotte Flair Mentions Bella Twins & Mercedes Moné On SmackDown

Charlotte Flair made reference to numerous recently departed Women’s division legends on tonight’s WWE SmackDown (March 24).

Ahead of her big match against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39, Charlotte Flair shared a passionate speech in front of the excited Las Vegas crowd.

While the fans inexplicably dropped a ‘What?’ chant on her (which she addressed directly before continuing her point) she happened to capture attention by dropping a few names.

Noting that she doesn’t fear Rhea Ripley, she respects her, Charlotte went on to list the names of other pioneers of the WWE Women’s Division that she also respects including “Nikki, Brie” and “Sasha”.

With both the Garcia Twins (formerly known as Nikki and Brie Bella) and Mercedes Moné (formerly known as Sasha Banks) recently departing the WWE ranks, Flair’s mention marks the first direct mention since the twins’ departures.

While it remains unknown where in the card Charlotte Flair versus Rhea Ripley will land for WrestleMania weekend, earlier in the show the question regarding what match would kick off the event was answered.
