On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a match for Chris Jericho on AEW Collision set to air after WrestleMania 40 was confirmed.
In advance of the big WrestleMania 40 events in Philadelphia this weekend, AEW Dynamite was live a few hours north in Worchester, Massachusetts.
On tonight’s Dynamite, Chris Jericho made an appearance and called out HOOK to clarify their potential partnership.
In the segment Jericho acknowledged that he has turned on every tag partner he has ever had, pointing to the lyrics to his ‘Judas’ theme as further evidence, so he understood why HOOK might be skeptical.
HOOK however said that he was still down to be partners, he would just have his eye on him.
HOOK said that he had gotten the pair a match for this week’s AEW Collision, set to be filmed in advance tonight in Worchester.
The wait wouldn’t be long for their opponents to be revealed as a tag team appeared in a backstage segment straight away.
Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty will be representing Shane Taylor Promotions as they take on LionHOOK, the team name of the ‘Lionheart’ Chris Jericho and HOOK.
Collision, as mentioned taped tonight, will air at 11:30pm ET on Saturday, which will most likely be shortly after WrestleMania 40 night one ends.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Adam Copeland opened the show with a fiery promo in support of All Elite Wrestling, seemingly in response to recent comments by CM Punk.
