Huge AEW Star Makes Several Trademark Filings AEW

Chris Jericho is well known for his creative ability to conjure up new monikers and get catchphrases trending.

Now, as reported by Wrestlingnews.co, the Ring Of Honor champion has filed several trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including for his latest name, ‘The Ocho.’

The trademarks were filed by Michael E. Dockins on the behalf of Chris Irvine, Inc on October 17.

In addition to ‘The Ocho,’ the ‘Ring of Jericho’ was also filed for clothing/merchandise purposes.

The Ring of Jericho is of course Jericho’s name for his current run as the ROH World Champion, where he looks to deface the legacy of the old ROH.

Another term filed for entertainment services was for “Chris Jericho’s Blood Boat.”

Jericho has his own cruise line billed as the Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea. His next cruise on the Four Leaf Clover sails from Miami to the Bahamas over four days and begins on February 2, 2023.

Cruise entertainment includes meet and greets with wrestling talent, live wrestling shows and live performances from Jericho’s band, Fozzy.

‘Chris Jericho’s Blood Boat’ could signal a future cruise entertainment package.

Previously, Jericho has filed trademarks for his other recent monikers, including ‘The Wizard’ and ‘Sports Entertainer.’

The Ocho recently negotiated an extension to his contract with AEW that will see him take on additional responsibilities backstage. You can read the full story right here.

Chris Jericho became the ROH World Heavyweight Champion during the Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite, defeating Claudio Castagnoli to seize the title.

He has since gone on to face and defeat former ROH World Heavyweight Champions Bandido, Bryan Danielson and most recently, Dalton Castle on the Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite on October 18.
