Last night’s episode had a ton of highlights but nothing has gotten fans talking quite like the Dinner Debonair. Chris Jericho and MJF took their dinner segment to another level, performing a full-on Broadway song and dance number.
Now, Jericho has revealed some of the details for the filming of the segment. In particular, he mentioned that they filmed until 2:00 am and the editing wasn’t finished until 22 minutes before it aired. Here is the footage from Jericho’s post-Dynamite comments:
Here is pt. 2 of Chris Jericho speaking to the crowd after the show and talking about #LeDinnerDebonair #AEWDynamite 10.21.20. He definitely looked over at me a few times. 🥺 pic.twitter.com/26KBaw6FsW

“If you only knew what we went through to get that up on-air. Basically, we had that ready to go about 22 minutes before it aired and we filmed last night until about 2 AM. You never know what’s going to happen on live TV but you buckle up, get the job done, put on a great show, and make sure you guys have fun.”
Jericho and MJF have been playing a game of cat and mouse in recent weeks with both trying to get the other to admit they want to team together. It hasn’t resulted in anything concrete, but we did get this segment out of it. Next week, Jericho will be holding a Town Hall meeting regarding whether MJF should join the Inner Circle.
Similarly, Jericho has spoken in the past about the filming process for AEW. In particular, he has talked about the Stadium Stampede and Dynamite Street Fight matches. Both of which were said to be highly creative with filming lasting longer so as to incorporate more ideas.
