Top Star Discusses Working As An Agent In IMPACT Wrestling IMPACT Wrestling

A top star has discussed working as an agent in IMPACT Wrestling.

At IMPACT Wrestling Against All Odds, Chris Sabin made history by defeating Trey Miguel to become the first nine-time X-Division Champion.

Outside of singles success, Sabin is one of the most decorated and successful tag team wrestlers in the history of the business with his work as one half of the Motor City Machine Guns.

Appearing on the latest episode of Sunday Night’s Main Event, Sabin was asked if he was interested in working in a backstage role once his in-ring career is over. He answered:

“Yeah, all of the above is an option really. I would be interested in anything like that, very possibly starting a school and training people or, I’m actually right now, I still agent and wrestle at the same time.”

“So I’m still gaining experience as a backstage agent, I started doing that in 2019 so that’s four years of experience.”

“I really like having that in my back pocket, because that’s a job position in every major wrestling company in the US, they have backstage agents.”

“So just being able, if my in-ring career ended, I would still be able to agent, I would be happy with that as well. As long as I could work somewhere or have some job related to the wrestling business, I’d be happy.”

Chris Sabin is scheduled to defend the X-Division Championship against Lio Rush at Slammiversary this Saturday, July 15.

This Saturday will be a busy day in wrestling with IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary, AAA TripleMania 31: Tijuana and AEW has a double shot with Collision and Battle of the Belts.
