Clarification has emerged on the blood feature on the AEW Fight Forever console game, with Kenny Omega commenting on the game.
It has now been confirmed that AEW Fight Forever will be released on June 29, following months of speculation about the game dropping.
Prior to the release date announcement, it was revealed that one aspect which was holding up proceedings was the game’s ESRB rating, with the project allegedly not initially qualifying for a T for Teen rating.
With the game eventually securing this rating, some fans speculated that blood was one aspect of the game that had been significantly toned down to achieve the more favourable rating.
As we’ve covered previously, AEW Games has shared some bloody screenshots from the game, confirming that the game will feature the red stuff, captioning the images:
We’ve heard that many of you were worried that the blood was removed from #AEWFightForever. We’ll let these new screenshots speak for themselves.

However, in a new update, clarifying that blood will be an optional feature, Kenny Omega then tweeted:
A feature that you can disable, I might add! 😅
