There has been some clarification on a recent report that an AEW Rampage match had been significantly trimmed down for TV.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer previously noted that Eddie Kingston vs Daniel Garcia from last week’s show went about 22 minutes live, with only 13 minutes of wrestling making it to the TV broadcast.

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer updated his initial report, noting that a lot less of the match was cut than previously thought:

“I was told the Kingston match they cut 10 minutes, and somebody had like a clock – they cut several minutes but it was not 10 minutes, it was far less than that. It was maybe two or three minutes.”

The AEW Rampage TV schedule is set to change next month, due to coverage of NBA and NHL playoffs. While this Friday’s show is slated for its regular time-slot, the May 6 show the following week is currently listed for 6pm ET, subject to change.

Stay tuned for updates on new time-slots for episodes beyond these dates.
