Clarification On Bizarre Seth Rollins WWE Raw Segment

More details have emerged on the Raw segment featuring Seth Rollins, following a video of Rollins talking with the production crew going viral.

On the April 3 show, Rollins made an in-ring appearance and… that was about it. The crowd sang Rollins’ theme to him, which he soaked in.

Following reports that plans for Raw changed significantly ahead of the episode, many speculated that this segment was one of the moments affected by last minute changes.

This speculation was fuelled by a video which has been shared on social media showing Rollins speaking with a member of the production crew during the show’s commercial break, with many believing that Rollins was being told of new plans for the show while he was in the ring.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), this was not the case. Sources familiar with the situation have reportedly indicated that Rollins’ segment was originally scripted this way.

Following Raw, PWInsider reported that there was ‘no doubt’ that McMahon was ‘firmly back in charge‘ of the show.

Following WWE’s sale to Endeavor, the Endeavor CEO has now commented on Vince McMahon’s role within the company.
