CM Punk Reveals ‘Real’ AEW World Championship, Title Match Next Week Featuring WWE Hall Of Famer AEW

We finally have an answer as to what is in CM Punk’s bag on tonight’s AEW Collision show.

Punk came to the ring with the bag, where he was asked what was in the bag by Tony Schiavone.

Punk says that he just made it to Hartford two hours before the show, and but he always makes his towns.

He says there is things going in AEW and Collision, one of those things being All In at Wembley Stadium, and he said that Wembley and Ricky Starks both have something to do with what is in the bag.

Punk said that it’s not about carrying around the bag, it’s about him being left holding it, because it’s what you have to do as the ‘responsible adult in the room’.

Punk then opened the bag saying that the truth doesn’t care if he’s right or wrong, and in this case he is right, before pulling out an AEW World Championship, saying he is the rightful champion because he earned it.

Punk said the title had his name and blood on it, and now it has his symbol on it, before spray painting an ‘X’ on the title.

Punk said this title will stay on Collision, and that he is the real world champion, before Ricky Starks interrupted him.

Ricky says that the title belongs to him, as he has beaten Punk not once but twice, and that not only is he the real world champion, he is the face of Collision.

Punk then said it sounds like Ricky wants a title shot, but Punk said he would need a special guest referee, before agreeing to a title match for next week with Starks.

Tony Schiavone then revealed that WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat would serve as the special guest referee for the match.
