An episode of Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast featuring CM Punk is scheduled to air before AEW Rampage tonight.
The episode is scheduled to premiere on the Oral Sessions YouTube channel at 6pm ET, which is four hours before Rampage starts at 10pm ET on TNT.
The description for the episode reads:
It’s clobberin’ time when Renee is joined by none other than CM Punk, and the “voice of the voiceless” has plenty to say about his short-lived UFC run, the fate of WWE Backstage and the most controversial questions facing the industry today.
No mention of AEW or Rampage, and it’s possible – and actually rather likely – that this isn’t a planned thing between the parties and maybe Paquette just wants to get the episode out before it becomes outdated for obvious reasons. It seems this is the episode that has already aired on other platforms and it’s just being uploaded in full to celebrate ‘CM Punk day’.
Tony Khan and Punk himself have both posted new teases that suggest an AEW debut in Chicago tonight, and it’s not going to be a good look for AEW if he doesn’t appear.
