After AEW: Dynamite went off the air last night, the fans in Memphis got to see Cody announce AEW’s newest signing.
Following last night’s Dynamite, WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn and his son Austin teamed together as ‘The Gunn Club”, the duo were victorious.
According to reports that have emerged for those who attended the show, Cody made his way down to the ring after the match, announcing that AEW had signed Austin to a contract.
This all comes after Billy Gunn filed to trademark his son’s name and the name “The Gunn Club” a few weeks ago, implying the duo could be featured more heavily on TV in the coming weeks.
By signing the deal, Austin and his father Billy have made history as the first father and son duo to be contracted to AEW, a pretty cool achievement.
