WWE has officially marked the end of an era, posting a video of Cody Rhodes replacing Roman Reigns on the official championship title.
Well the side plates featuring his logo on the physical WWE Undisputed Universal Championship title were removed that is.
WWE posted a video of the side plates being swapped out in advance of tonight’s big Raw after WrestleMania.
With the Monday night event known for surprises and excitement, an added layer of drama to the production as it was announced earlier that the entire first hour will be presented on USA Network, commercial free.
After a successful main event of night two of WWE WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes wasn’t able to celebrate long before embarking on a long day of media appearances in advance of tonight’s WWE Raw.
Making stops at The Today Show studio in New York City, Rhodes was back in Philly a few hours later to appear on the Pat McAfee show live from WWE World.
As for what is next for Roman Reigns, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque shared an intriguing statement about the Tribal Chief’s future at the post-show Press Conference.
