WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has revealed who is the ‘modern Undertaker’ behind the scenes in the WWE locker room.
During his 30 year career in WWE, The Undertaker gained a reputation for being one of the key figures in the WWE locker room, and the ultimate locker room leader in the company.
With Undertaker retiring back in 2020, a new name has seemingly stepped up to be the locker room leader in the company.
Cody Rhodes was speaking to Jelly Roll on his What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast, where he called Randy Orton the ‘modern day Undertaker’ in the locker room.
He said:
“I like the idea that you’re talking about Randy Orton who is currently, I don’t think Undertaker would dislike this, but he really has become the Undertaker of this locker room. If there was a real problem, probably going to go to Randy or Seth.
“If there was somebody, little Brodie will come to TV with me some times, I’ll tell little Brodie ‘go say hi to Randy, that’s number one’, the same as my brother the one time I came to a WWE show back in the day, you wanna go meet Undertaker. Not just do you wanna meet him, it’s part of the experience. You’re in his locker room.”
Jelly Roll teamed with Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam this past weekend, where they were defeated by Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.
