Cody Rhodes’ Sister Claims ‘Criminal Bias’ Against Cody In PWI 500 List

Cody Rhodes’ Sister Claims ‘Criminal Bias’ Against Cody In PWI 500 List WWE

Cody Rhodes’ sister Teil has taken issue with the 2023 Pro Wrestling Illustrated PWI 500 list that was released today, which ranked Cody at #10.

Teil Rhodes has taken to Twitter to react to the list, clearly of the belief that her brother should be ranked higher.

Upon first seeing the top 10, she tweeted:

“Do you know what time their stand up set starts? Cause these jokes”

The top 10 in the list was as follows:

  1. Seth Rollins
  2. Roman Reigns
  3. Jon Moxley
  4. Gunther
  5. El Hijo Del Vikingo
  6. MJF
  7. Kazuchika Okada
  8. Orange Cassidy
  9. Josh Alexander
  10. Cody Rhodes

Teil added:

“no issue with Top 3 and Max should be higher. Cody at 10 funny”

However, she implied there may be more to the story, claiming “criminal bias” against Cody (seemingly not actually criminal, but just as a figure of speech) and adding:

“Someone at PWI has an beef with someone in family and It’s really ugly on their end. So that’s why I care. They are lucky certain people take the high road cause it’s cancelable.”

Teil featured heavily in the Peacock documentary ‘Becoming Cody Rhodes’ about Cody Rhodes’ journey back to WWE and WrestleMania 39.

She and mother Michelle also featured on ‘Rhodes to the Top’, a reality series focused on Cody and Brandi Rhodes while they were at AEW.

The series was initially renewed for a second season but it never came to be as Cody and Brandi exited AEW in early 2022.

The PWI 500 list made another glaring omission, leaving out NJPW’s Tetsuya Naito entirely.
