Colt Cabana has commented on his status in the Dark Order AEW faction, with Cabana not teaming with the stable in over a year.
Cabana last teamed with a Dark Order member in an AEW ring at the Fight Forever Gamescom exhibition in August 2022, siding with Evil Uno to defeat Angélico & Christopher Daniels.
Prior to this, his most recent Dark Order matches saw him team with the group on AEW Dark that May.
Cabana has wrestled for AEW twice in the last year, most recently teaming with Brandon Cutler in a dark match at the September 13 Dynamite taping.
Speaking on Bakers Bantering, Cabana commented on his status with the Dark Order, noting that he ‘just kind of walked away’.
Cabana said:
“I was in the Dark Order for a long time, but now I’m not in it as much.
“They never technically kicked me out, but I just kind of walked away a little bit. They’ve been bad guys. They’ve been bad boys, to be honest.”
Cabana’s last in-ring appearance for AEW came on the November 2, 2022 AEW Dynamite, where he challenged for Chris Jericho’s ROH World Championship.
While that was Cabana’s last on AEW TV, the former ROH Tag Team Champion did appear on ROH TV back in April, unsuccessfully challenging for Samoa Joe’s ROH TV Championship.
