Creed Brothers WWE Status Update

From tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, an update on the status of the Creed Brothers after they lost a ‘loser leaves NXT’ match a few weeks ago.

A the time, it appeared that loss may have paved the way for a main roster call-up, but it certainly seems like they’re well and truly still involved in NXT.

After two of the Schism’s yellow masked disciples turned on the faction last week, tonight on NXT, Joe Gacy, Ava, Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid were set on unmasking their followers one by one to figure out who the saboteurs were.

Fowler and Reid had been convinced it was the Creed Brothers posing under Schism masks, but when the time came to unmask the followers one by one tonight, no Julius or Brutus Creed were to be found.

There were two Performance Center talents who were specifically chosen because they had similar builds to the Creeds, but when they were unmasked, Julius and Brutus appeared on the tron, pretending to be on vacation and denying it had been them all along.

As they flipped through green screen scenes behind them and flubbed the name of where they currently were (with Julius saying Hawaii and Brutus saying Fiji), the segment made it clear that the Creeds were not quite done with Schism, just yet.

It seems that the Creed Brothers will at least close out a feud with Schism prior to heading to the main roster, since they’ve got the faction running scared and watching their backs.

There can always be more twists, but the story seems to be that it was the Creed Brothers under masks who betrayed Fowler and Reid, but they’re pretending it wasn’t, and now Schism is dead set on trying to find where they’re hiding.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, another talent seemingly teased either a storyline exit or a main roster call up.
